01 — The Brand Audit

The diagnostic that precedes every eight-figure fashion label.

Twenty-one days. Four operators. Forty-two pages of priced-out findings on your pricing, wholesale math, DTC unit economics, COGS, and positioning — delivered as a document you can hand to your CFO, your factory, or your investors.

$2,500 · 21-day turnaround · Limited to 12 brands per quarter

02 — Scope & Deliverables

Six chapters of analysis. One bound document. Zero ambiguity about what $2,500 buys.

The audit is not a coaching call. It is a written engagement, produced by a four-person operator team, and structured as a financial document you can act on Monday morning.

  1. Chapter 01

    Pricing Architecture

A line-by-line review of your current pricing against category benchmarks, wholesale margin requirements, and DTC laddered price points. Includes a revised price architecture for SS26 with margin scenarios at 3 cost-of-goods tiers.

  2. Chapter 02

    Wholesale Math & Terms

Keystone, multiple, and margin-by-channel model for your top 12 SKUs, with suggested wholesale terms (FOB, net, markdown allowances) ready to drop into a buyer email or line sheet.

  3. Chapter 03

    DTC Unit Economics

Full P&L per order: COGS, fulfillment, payment processing, returns, blended CAC, and contribution margin. We benchmark you against the verified dataset from 1,847 member brands.

  4. Chapter 04

    COGS & Production Sourcing

Fabric and factory cost stack, MOQ analysis, and a 90-day sourcing roadmap. Where relevant, we connect you with vetted production partners from our vetted network across NYC, LA, and Milan.

  5. Chapter 05

    Brand Positioning Audit

A positioning rewrite grounded in your category, price point, and ideal customer. Includes a competitive map against 6–10 named comparators, a positioning statement, and three messaging pivots.

  6. Chapter 06

    Assortment & Collection Strategy

SKU rationalisation across your current line, with a recommended SS26 assortment size, hero-product thesis, and a sequenced launch plan tied to wholesale appointment windows.

03 — Read Before You Book

Who the audit is engineered for. And who should pick a different entry point.

Self-qualifying upfront saves us both a discovery call. Here is the honest split.

This audit is built for you

Founders between $150K and $3M annual revenue, selling apparel or accessories.

  • You have shipped at least one production run and have real sales data — even if small.
  • You have considered wholesale but do not know the math, the terms, or the line sheet structure.
  • DTC margins feel off and you cannot tell whether the problem is pricing, COGS, or blended CAC.
  • You have a creative identity but no written positioning document a buyer or investor can hold.
  • You want a priced-out roadmap for the next two quarters — not another coaching container.

Consider the Method Cohort instead

Pre-revenue founders, side-project labels, or teams looking for ongoing education.

  • You have not yet produced or shipped a collection — there is no financial document to audit.
  • You are exploring fashion as a creative direction and want a curriculum, not a deliverable.
  • You need weekly operator access over 12 weeks, not a single fixed-scope engagement.
  • Your category is outside apparel and accessories (beauty, home, jewelry at scale) — our benchmarks are calibrated for fashion specifically.
  • You are a hobbyist or hobby-stage creator with no current operating budget.

04 — The 21-Day Cadence

Five steps. Four operators. One bound document you can act on.

Each step is owned by a named member of our operator faculty. You will know who is touching your brand before the engagement starts.

  1. Day 1

    Intake Call — 60 minutes

You meet your audit lead — typically a former CFO or brand director from Rag & Bone, Everlane, or Glossier — for a structured interview covering revenue, channels, current operations, and the specific question you want answered.

  2. Days 2–8

    Financial Deep-Dive

Your dedicated analyst ingests your last 12 months of P&L, Shopify / NuOrder / NetSuite exports, COGS sheets, and any production invoices. Output: a structured data room the rest of the team works from.

  3. Days 9–14

    Market Triangulation

Our wholesale and DTC specialists benchmark your pricing, assortment, and positioning against the verified Fashion Method dataset of 1,847 brands across 34 countries. Output: a category map and pricing ladder.

  4. Days 15–19

    Strategy Synthesis

The audit lead drafts the 42-page document, reviewed and annotated by two additional operators before delivery. Output: your bound audit, priced in deliverable hours, ready to circulate internally.

  5. Day 21

    Operator Readout — 90 minutes

A live readout call with the full audit team. We walk you through every chapter, answer objections, and answer the question your investors, factory, or buyer will ask first.

05 — By the Numbers

The audit is taught inside the same system that produced these results.

06 — What You Walk Away With

Three artifacts. One operator readout. Zero vague deliverables.

The audit is priced as a fixed-fee engagement. The deliverables below are what every brand receives — no upsells, no tier unlocks.

Artifact 01

The 42-Page Bound Audit

Printed and shipped to your office, plus an editable PDF for internal circulation. Six chapters, fully cited against the Fashion Method benchmark dataset, signed by your audit lead.

A stack of three printed Fashion Method audit binders on a desk.

Artifact 02

The 90-Day Priced-Out Roadmap

A sequenced action plan keyed to your engagement weeks 1–12. Each action has an owner, a cost estimate, and an expected revenue impact. Designed to hand to a CFO, COO, or fractional lead.

An open 90-day roadmap workbook with red ink annotations.

Artifact 03

The Operator Readout Call

A 90-minute live call with the audit team on Day 21. You leave with explicit next steps, a list of questions to bring to your factory, buyers, or investors, and an optional introduction to vetted partners.

An empty four-chair boardroom set up for an operator readout call.

07 — Booking

Twelve brands per quarter. Currently booking Q3.

The Brand Audit is capped at twelve engagements per quarter to protect operator attention. A 30-minute strategy call is required before booking — that is where we confirm fit and scope, and you meet the lead operator who will own your engagement.
