The Method — Syllabus, 2024 Edition

The Method is a 90‑day operating system, not advice.
Three stages, fourteen modules, one P&L.

The same sequence used inside 1,847 fashion labels to move from a founder‑run brand to an operator‑run business — taught by the CFOs, brand directors, and DTC operators who built them.

90 Days·14 Modules·3 Stages·1 P&L Template
01 — The Sequence

Three stages, executed in order — the same sequence used inside the 1,847 brands that completed the cohort.

Diagnose the brand as it is. Systematize the operations that hold it up. Scale only what the system can carry. Skipping a stage is the most common failure we see in member applications.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

    Days 1–30 · Weeks 1–4

Run the brand through the proprietary Financial & Operating Audit: unit economics, wholesale math, P&L structure, channel margin, founder time. You arrive at a written baseline and a list of the three constraints that are actually capping growth.

    • Audited Fashion P&L
    • Channel-margin map (DTC, wholesale, repeat)
    • Three written constraints
  2. 02

    Systematize

    Days 31–60 · Weeks 5–8

Convert each constraint into an operating cadence: pricing tiers, wholesale sell-in toolkit, production calendar, founder–CEO split, weekly cash review. Every framework is a doc you can hand to a new hire on day one.

    • Pricing architecture (tiered MSRP / MAP)
    • Wholesale sell-in deck + line sheet
    • Weekly operating cadence (CEO dashboard)
  3. 03

    Scale

    Days 61–90 · Weeks 9–12

Pressure-test the system at higher volume: a controlled channel expansion, a production re-cut against the new margin targets, a 90-day forward forecast. You leave with a plan the next quarter of revenue can be built on.

    • Channel expansion memo
    • 90-day revenue forecast
    • Hiring & agency brief
02 — The Syllabus

The Operator Studio

Weekly live working sessions with a former brand director from Rag & Bone, Everlane, Glossier, Net-a-Porter, or Moda Operandi. Bring the module deliverable; leave with it reviewed. Cohort size is capped at 22 brands to keep the working sessions operational, not theatrical.

04 — The P&L & The Partners

The P&L template cited by four fashion VCs — and the schools teaching The Method inside their continuing-ed programs.

The Fashion P&L Template is the document the whole method is built around. It is downloaded free, taught inside three university programs, and is the first artifact every cohort member ships in Module 02.

05 — A Note On The Method

What The Method is not: a mastermind, a community, a content library, or a personality cult.

It is not twelve weeks of group coaching. It is not a feed of motivational posts. It is not advice you can outsource to a VA or an AI prompt. There is no "10× your brand" inside this curriculum and there never will be.

The Method is an operating system — fourteen modules, fourteen deliverables, one P&L — that you execute inside your own brand, under review by working operators from companies that have already built the labels you are building. You ship the work. The Method carries the structure. That is the whole arrangement.
